Movie Info

A wild weekend has unforeseen consequences for a handful of young women in this independent drama from writer and director Erica Dunton. After swiping a credit card from her stepfather (Ed Wagenseller), Ana invites her close friends China (Chelsea Logan), Emily (Adwoa Aboah), Zoe (Jami Eaton) and Abigail (Audrey Speicher) to join her for a weekend at the beach, where the can indulge themselves and leave the burdens of responsibility behind. However, the many personal issues that haunt the girls can't so be easily left at home, and their night out on the town attracts the attention of some men with dishonorable intentions. Audience Reviews for To.get.her

Writer-director Dunton strains for high-school gravitas and achieves a smidgen of it in her twisty final reel, but the absurdity of "to.get.her," together with horrid dialogue, ought to prevent its graduation from an award-winning Sundance bow to release.
