The 30th Anniversary Ramones Tribute Show/Johnny Ramone tribute. Spliced with talking heads of those involved, and adding some footage from the memorial service for Ramone a few weeks after his death (2 days after the show). I personally enjoyed it a great deal, the performances, the interviews, and especially seeing the impact a man and his band had on people for 3 (and now nearly 4 decades). Worth it for any fan.

Every Ramones fan should watch this moving tribute to Johnny and the music of the Ramones. Hosted by his good friend Rob Zombie, the anniversary concert is a showcase of musicians playing Ramones songs with Eddie Vedder and Henry Rollins being highlights of the night. The interviews are an insight into the man that was Johnny, and how he affected his friends both personally and professionally. The funeral scenes are quite emotional but in the end, it's all about the man and his legacy.

With love and honor the fans & Bands that have been touched by Johnny Ramone come to pay tribute to their dying hero. The interviews inter-spliced with performances as well as the overall energy you could feel from the crowd made this documentary of the event one of the most powerful I have ever watched. My personal favorite of all the performances was Henry Rollins, it was as if singing the songs live transported him back in time 30+ years, it was simply remarkable

It was worth watching just to see Rollins, Steve Jones, X, and the Dickies doing great Ramones covers.

ugh, its so amazing seeing a band that influences so many other bands! one fact stays true.. no on could ever sounds like The Ramones! no one! this tribute was done while Johnny Ramone was dying of cancer.. 2 days after the gig he passed on.. being the control master he is I guess he had to wait til it was REALLY over.... really sad to watch in the end.. cause it is an end of an era for them.
