Movie Info

In Torero, real-life matador Luis Procuna plays the leading role, an aspiring bullfighter who must overcome his fear of bulls -- and of crowds -- to achieve success. Also given ample screen time are such enduring bullring favorites as Arruza and Manolette. Much of the picture is comprised of newsreel footage. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Audience Reviews for Torero (Bullfighter)

You can't make a bullfighter act, but you can get some extremely good footage from him... Luis Procuna's narration really sucked but it does give the audience a close perspective of how his life was... honestly it was very romantsized, but I'm thinkin this is the dream of what bullfighting culture is... Romance, Death, Blood, Victory... blah blah. It was nominated foran Academy Award for Best Documentary...
