Kirk Browning directed this 1974 televised production of Eugene O'Neill's dramatic period play +A Touch of the Poet. Fritz Weaver stars as Cornelius Melody, an Irishman who laments about his days in Europe while sitting in an early 19th century Boston pub. Along with Weaver, the play features performances by John Heffernan, Roberta Maxwell, Donald Moffat, Carrie Nye, John Phaelen, and the late Nancy Marchand, who viewers will likely recognize from HBO's The Sopranos.
