As just a pure popcorn fun ride movie that's better than the first but just as empty character development wise.

That blonde chick is disgusting.

Pretty good for a sequel, with at least some originality to the storyline and no try-hard comedic additions like you get in a lot of films today. Great Jackie Chan-esque improvisation-style fight scenes too.

The average Bugs Bunny cartoon is more realistic, but this is enjoyable over-the-top fun which the first film wasn't.

Once again, we have a Statham movie, where the story isn't the focus and doesn't matter much at all. The allure of this film is the terrific characters created by Luc Besson. The mysterious driver with OCD is back, but is well into his retirement. Instead of helping the bad guys get away, Frank Martin (Statham) is driving rich people around, but he's forced into action when their young son is kidnapped. The story here is somewhat simplistic, but the bad guys are as creative as you will ever see in this type of film. I'm not sure where they found Alessandro Gassman and Amber Valletta, but they were so much fun to watch. He is a self-obsessed drug lord, with ridiculous moves, and big plans, while she is a deadly assassin, whose ability with a gun would put John Wayne and Clint Eastwood to shame. When Statham is added to the mix, you have the perfect formula for one intense movie. Transporter 2 was terrific in that it never stops moving and you will see things you never thought were possible outside of CGI, it was unbelievably entertaining. From the stand point of a film aficionado, while these amazing moves and characters make for a lot of fun, the story and dialogue are severely lacking. This film is not for people looking for a great story or loveable characters, it's made for adrenaline junkies who want to see explosions, long fight scenes, and intense thematic action. If you're all about the action, you won't find much better than this, but if you want there to be some greater purpose, a worth-while cause to fight for, or want to see the world become a better place because of all that happened, you'll be disappointed.

Wow! Better than the 1st movie which was still quite good. This film has even more ridiculous stunts (remember, on purpose) and a more focused story in my opinion. Very good! The action is just as good, but paced better.

Nothing more or less than what it is supposed to be.

Short and sweet, Transporter 2 is your typical action romp.

More action and hard-core stunts that brings this the pinnacle of the series with enough violence and style to please fans of the genre.

The plot is more coherent and the action is staged more interestingly with some cool moments, but could someone please ask the gentleman holding the camera to take a few steps back and stop shaking the camera all over the place.

A little far fetched race against time but it works for Statham fans and fans of the genre.

On continue avec le 2 qui se passe aux US donc beaucoup plus d'action, d'explosions mais surtout des cascades vraiment cocasses. Etrangement ca passe mieux que le 1er.

Now having seen all three of the Transporter films, I feel comfortable in my assessment of the third one as pure crap. While this and the previous entry don't really qualify as great cinema, they can still be enjoyed as entertainment. This sequel offers up a similarly thin premise, but executes it effectively and with little downtime for needless exposition. In fact this one is more streamlined than the first, clocking in at about 6 minutes shorter. The basic plot has Frank racing against time to get the antidote for a virus that infected a US government official and his family (and potentially a whole lot of other people). However, despite the shorter running time, everything that was good about the previous film is better in this one, namely the action sequences. The acting is mostly decent, although one of the villains, a female, didn't do as well as everyone else. Thankfully, she was quite a character and fairly easy on the eyes. Of course, it almost goes without saying that the fight choreography was excellent, done by Cory Yuen, who directed the first one. There was a really balletic quality to the fights that made them fun to watch, and the shooting style was able to adequately capture Jason Statham's abilities. The editing was a bit tighter this time around, but it also had the effect of making the hits seem harder, which I suppose is a good thing. There are only a couple of other things I feel worth mentioning in terms of the overall look and feel of the picture. Even though is from Luc Besson's production house, at times it looked and felt like a Michael Bay film, but not necessarily in a bad way. Part of this is due to the over-saturated color scheme which Bay uses in his film these days. Part of it could also be that it was set in Miami, which is where BAD BOYS and its sequel were set. Other than that, though, the cinematography was better and the humor was more appropriate than one finds in a Michael Bay film. Overall, the plot is just as ludicrous and convoluted as the first, perhaps more so, but the fight choreography and action sequences are a slight step up. Recommended for fans of the first one.

What can I say?,If you are completely bored and have nothing to do then watch this film.Aside from that aspect I don't think there is any other reason to see it.

Jason Stratham's atempt to be Bruce Lee, or James Bond, may appeal to children in the age range 10 to 12.
This film is only worth seeing for the Florida backdrop & one
sexy girl !

This was well done. A lot of adventure as in the first movie. I would watch this one again.
