Movie Info

Treevenge details the horrifying reality of the lives of Christmas trees. After being hacked down, and shipped away from their homes, they quickly become strung up, screwed into an upright position for all to see, exposed in a humiliation of garish decorations. But this Christmas will be different, this Christmas the trees have had enough, this Christmas the trees will fight back.

I plan to keep an eye out for more of Jason Eisener's shorts.

Audience Reviews for Treevenge

Christmas trees enact revenge for their harvesting against human families. Filmed in a style to resemble 8mm, this short looks as though it were produced in the 1970s. Right up my alley for its humour, gore, and ridiculousness.

Christmas is really shaping up! But have you bought your Christmas Tree yet? Then snuggle up to your fireplace and bust open a tall glass of Winter Ale, because this 16 minute horror-comedy appropriately titled,Treevenge, will warm your hearts like no other Christmas story around. I sure am glad we have a faux tree.

This is a very entertaining short, but there are two huge problems with it: they lack originality in stealing the Cannibal Holocaust score, and they go for too much of a shock ending rather than one that could have been somehow as witty as the concept of the film itself.
