Movie Info

Ricky Nelson was a teen idol long before the Backstreet Boys were ideas in their parents' heads. With his piercing blue eyes, perfectly symmetrical features, and sexy croon, Nelson, the son of acting duo Ozzie and Harriet, became Teaneck, New Jersey's biggest success story. This video tribute to the pop star -- who died tragically with his band in a 1985 plane crash -- features performance footage spanning forty years as well as interviews with friends and music peers including John Fogerty, Carl Perkins and Roy Orbison. Songs performed include "Hello Mary Lou" and "Travelin' Man."
