Geeky high school virgin Brad Kimble (Will Friedle) pines for popular cheerleader Brooke Kingsley (Marley Shelton), but she is in love with hotshot jock Kyle (Eric Balfour). However, when it looks as though Brad is going to get his chance with Brooke after a hot study session, he goes on a madcap search for a condom. His search is wildly unsuccessful, but, in the process, he discovers that it is not Brooke that he really wants, but his closest friend, Leah Jones (Jennifer Love Hewitt).

James K @Jamesdkman 1d I saw it as a teenager and thought it was okay, but seeing it again much later in life has me wondering what was I going through to think this movie was even okay? It was all over the place, and the central plot was quite unbelievable. The movie is about him trying to find a condom and having a huge epiphany right before the end of the movie.
