There are plenty of laughs, but you'll see, here, that motherhood is serious business.

Despite its trouble sticking the landing, it houses a phenomenally good movie star performance from Theron.
July 17, 2019
None of the actors is at the same level of its protagonist (in terms of performance), but it is still worth watching. [Full Review in Spanish]

The particular genius of Charlize Theron is an onscreen relatability boosted by a total lack of vanity.
June 3, 2019
Theron is a marvel, as always, turning in a weary, un-self conscious performance as a woman at the end of her rope rediscovering the strength within herself.
May 6, 2019
It's a movie that reminds us of the emotional and physical magnitude of what moms do. Rarely has motherhood been portrayed in such a courageous, unblinking way.
May 4, 2019
Tully benefits from [Diablo Cody's] razor sharp wit as it manages to place a humorous filter on the trials and tribulations of motherhood.
April 13, 2019
Tully smashes Hollywood's glamorous image of motherhood.
March 30, 2019
Tully pulls back the curtain on the nature of parenthood like never before. It's both a remarkable achievement and a devastating experience by the film's end.

A great take on depression and crisis following pregnancy. Charlize Theron shines as she usually does. The ending is fantastic. [Full review in Spanish].

The last act was a major letdown...but still worth seeing for the performances alone
February 20, 2019
Jason Reitman is never as good as when he's collaborating with screenwriter Diablo Cody; bonus points if the film in question stars Charlize Theron, as Tully does.

The arrival of dream nanny Tully produces some great insight on what society expects from mothers and women in general, but the story fails to develop into anything satisfying.
January 29, 2019
Playing with the tricks of the mind, Tully feels more contrived than astute, having the skilled group of actors working hard to avoid further damage.
January 23, 2019
An extremely well written and acted film.
January 18, 2019
Tully is a return to form for both director Jason Reitman and writer Diablo Cody. Featuring great performances, an unflinching and engrossing look on motherhood and a witty, acerbic script. Tully is a film worth looking out for.
December 21, 2018
There's a decent story trapped somewhere inside that's just waiting to get out, but Tully sadly misses the mark.
December 19, 2018
Theron's portrayal of Marlo and what her baby's arrival does to her is rivetingly brutal. Night nanny Tully understands the mechanics of motherhood but not its realities and is so irritating she gets in the way of a nuanced story of postnatal depression.
December 4, 2018
Two-thirds of the movie is great and Theron is once again excellent - for a raw, yet offbeat, slice of dramatic comedy, Tully delivers the goods. Mostly.
November 11, 2018
It's awkward, perceptive, real, and smart. Cody and Reitman have a synergy that you just don't see from most moviemaking teams.
