A young man and a young woman from a small Italian village fall in love but due to the fact of their respective social statuses and the fact that marrying for money is a common practice, circumstances always pull them apart. This film feels like an Italian neorealist film with a sense of humor. There are some really funny scenes here and I'm not sure but it seems to be parodying Italian neorealist films as well. It didn't blow me away but it's a really fun little slice-of-life, fluffy film.
