One of the dumbest and silliest movies you'll ever see, Ultrachrist! is (in every possible way) technically terrible but it's still humorously incredible.

A movie literally undeserving of an audience. It spits in the face of actual satire by being so inexplicably stupid that even Christians would get a whomping headache trying to figure out what this low-budget atrocity was trying to pull. Its difficult to say whether this movie is insulting for it's portrayal of Jesus or it's idea that the audience is too dumb to notice how completely inaccurate it really is. The lack of anything remotely interesting makes this movie a complete snore, the lack of acting is irritating, the lack of a plot that makes sense is infuriating. This should be put in a bin of movies with a sign that says, "Do not watch".

Certainly a bad movie, but it is also certainly an entertainingly dumb movie.
Jesus returns to Earth, dons the garb of a superhero-retitling himself Ultrachrist. And fights the forces of evil: Richard Nixon, Vlad the Impaler (Dracula), Adolph Hitler, and (of course) Jim Morrison of the Doors.
How is this not entertaining?

If it weren't a home movie, you would already know about it...
A tour de force. Fast moving comedy at it's finest. F@$king hilarious.

Good-natured blasphemy. Surprisingly respectful (for the most part) and witty. Low, low budget, but well done. Nice performances by most of the cast. Not perfect, but fun, nonetheless.

This is the movie that I'd hoped "Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter" was going to be. Unapologetically blasphemous, gleefully low budget, and unabashedly goofy, "Ultrachrist!" is a solid b-movie. It certainly has its flaws, but overall there's more to like here than to hate. Well, assuming you're not an uptight fundamentalist who quails at the thought of someone portraying Jesus wearing a spandex superhero costume. But I digress. The people who made "Ultrachrist!" obviously had fun filming it, and if you can look past the parts that fall flat, chances are you'll have some fun watching it.

The camera work is clumsy, the acting is hammy, the plot is nonsensical, yet first-time Director Kerry Douglas Dye infuses the movie with a fun sense of innocence and a sincere , and sincerely misguided, message

Jesus in Spandex, you can't lose. Also, I'm beginning to thikn that there is a rule somewhere that if you make a humourous movie about Jesus it must have lesbians in it.

This isn't too bad at all. It's fairly funny and doesn't get too boring.
