Squirming & Laughing Is What You Get Here As Seperate Emotions Conflict With These Array Of Unfortunate Stories, Based On Haphazard Meetings Revolving Around Tragic Love Themes. The Backdrops In Spain Work Beautifully As Each Short Skit Plays Out. Nicely Done.

Really enjoyed the stories.

A delightful, light view of life amiongst a group of (mainly) married early middle aged friends.
Yes, there have been a number of this kind of circular plots around over the last decade... but this is definitely one of the better ones. Very well acted and well worth seeing.

Excelente retrato do universo masculino - é impossível não se identificar fortemente com pelo menos um dos protagonistas. Ainda oferece mais uma baita performance de Ricardo Darín e a sempre linda Leonor Watling.

A first rate cast pulls a lot of humor out of a series of vignettes in which pairs (mostly) of actors discuss relationships. Lesser talents couldn't have pulled it off; the cast makes the script seem a lot better than it is.

Great cast, but terrible movie. Has the same tone the whole time. No climax or conclusion at the end.

Collection of stories of men facing their mid-life crisis. Could have been better if they are more intertwined.

Dysfunctional Love, Actually, set in the context of middle-aged spanish blokes. A long montage of bittersweet dialogues on why blokes don't talk, and when they do it's not about anything that matters, and if it happens to be about something that matters, it just ends up being awkward.

i found myself dozing off several times not because of inactivity on the screen but perhaps i didn't feel a connection to nor curiosity towards the couples' lives. there were a couple of witty lines and i felt the fabric of their lives was underpinned by anger and resignation - the pessimism and negativity of coupledom in this movie wasn't appealing nor entertaining.

An interesting look at the trials and tribulations of marriage.

Dialogue driven ensemble drama about the travails of a group of Spanish middle aged blokes. Nice performances and some pertinent observations on the male condition if a little long.

You see these films from time to time with a scad of second-rate US stars (more often with multiple women stars, and generally Katherine Heigl is one of them)....well, this one's an ensemble piece of six different vignettes each on 40ish men and their identity crises, and I enjoyed it immensely. There was only one star I recognised and that was the Argentinian Bill Hunter, Ricardo Darín. That might have been because they were all Spanish stars....and a couple of the señoras in the second-last sketch were muy caliente.

Most people older than Gen-Y would recognise one or two of the characters.

This unpretentious movie was a very cute surprise on a sunday morning! Well acted, well scripted, leaving the viewer to make final conclusions, not passing judgement, just showing us how life is in terms of relationships. Recommended!

The interest comes from the good actors and some details, but it is not much new from one story to the other, from other movies of the same director (it is maybe the best of a too homogeneous track) and other movies.

me gusto mucho, hay algunas historias que me gustaron particularmente más que otras pero vale la pena!
