Makes a good companion piece to other Errol Flynn WW II movies - 'Edge of Darkness' and 'Desperate Journey'. This one has the least action - it's more of a drama. Flynn was an underrated actor, for sure.

Starring Errol Flynn. More Drama than Action. Flynn is a condemned French prisoner who volunteers to pose as a wanted man, a saboteur. His moral dilemma, turn himself in to the Gestapo, or allow 100 Frenchmen to be killed in his place.

Another great Flynn movie, because it is not what you would expect. Film noir-ish at times and gritty. Gotta love it.

Uncertain Glory is an impressive film. It is about a career criminal who is recaptured and knows he faces the guillotine, he offers to exchange his life for 100 hostages slated for execution by the Nazis. Errol Flynn and Paul Lukas give remarkable performances. The screenplay is well written. Raoul Walsh did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and romance. Uncertain Glory is a must see.

A pretty suspenseful film with Flynn paying against type as a criminal looking to redeem himself, or is he? Lots of moral conflict in this one to keep you interested.
