Three women abandoned by those they love yet determined to solve the problems that they face are forced to spend one harrowing night on the streets of Tehran in first-time feature filmmaker Pourya Azarbayjani's soul stirring drama. Saterah (Saterah Pesyani), Hengameh (Hengameh Ghaziani), and Saiideh (Saiiden Amir Saii) are three disparate women with a common problem: they are all at crucial turning points in their lives and currently have no one to turn to. Saterah is a passionate and fiercely independent girl whose conservative parents oppose her marriage to the man she loves. But Saterah isn't willing to let love go so easily, and soon makes plans to meet her boyfriend at the local bus station so that they can start life anew elsewhere. For the pregnant Hengameh, whose husband has stated in no uncertain terms that he is unwilling to support a child, the risk of finding someone to terminate her pregnancy far outweighs the risk of bringing an unwanted child into the world. Saiideh, on the other hand, has just given birth, but her husband is in prison and there's simply no way she will be able to pay the medical bills on her own. Desperate not to lose her fragile newborn, the determined mother absconds from the hospital with the infant and begins searching for somewhere that the pair will be able to live in peace. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
