Marco L @decatur555 Dec 22, 2025 Some films don't need big twists or underlined speeches to be necessary. This is one of them. It starts from a simple, almost everyday place, and that's why it's so uncomfortable: what it shows happens daily in many schools, far from the spotlight. It doesn't go for cheap tears. It observes, listens and lets things weigh on their own. David Verdaguer is solid as a teacher who isn't a hero but someone overwhelmed and clumsy, trying to do right. But what truly holds the film up are the kids, who talk, look at and protect or attack each other with rare naturalness. No cartoon villains, and the adults don't come out well. Best of all, it isn't only about visible bullying. It also points at those who look away or doubt the victim, and those silences can hurt even more. Maybe it's too restrained, but that sobriety is part of its honesty. It should be shown in schools, not as a sermon but as a mirror. Useful, honest and necessary. See more Read all reviews
