While it's never really awful, it's just utterly stupid...

Astoundingly awful on so many levels...

If there's one saving grace to Vampires: The Turning (and really, there isn't; I'm just trying to be a nice guy), it might be the small handful of action scenes. Might.

Audience Reviews for Vampires: The Turning

Lame, cliche-ridden action/horror set in Thailand about a couple of American tourists who manage to get embroiled in a Vamp war between two rival clans. It's got some half decent action and fight scenes but I just couldn't get excited by this one at all. Acting, dialogue, story are all lacking. Best to avoid this one.

(* 1/2): [img][/img] Overall, this movie pretty much "sucks" in every aspect except for some of the fight sequences.

[img][/img]Connor is an American Muay Thai fighter living in Thailand with his girlfriend; he becomes a hero of circumstance when she is kidnapped and he must come to her rescue. Her abductors, however, are a formidable foe, for they are the vampires who have been hiding out in the far East for centuries. In order to combat the undead, Connor joins forces with benevolent vampires who turn him into one of them. Lame plot & acting, only redeaming feature are a few decent action scenes.
