FORBIDDEN EMPIRE is wild and colorful and exciting and funny; it's neck-deep in witches and monsters and magic and devilry. It's a bit of a mess, but it's the sort of mess more movies should make of themselves.

Great special effects. It was a bit strange. If it was a bit better flowing it would have been epic. However, I found myself wondering what was going on more times than not. Good ending, tied everything together, but it too late at that point.
