Another real cool 80s action movie with Rutger Hauer as the good guy for a change even though he's still tough ! I love watching 80s Rutger, he's so sexy and cool. A real manly man and very interesting to watch, Mr Hauer gives everything when he's acting, which very few of today's young actors seem to do. This is a must see for all Hauer fans old and new.
brilliant hero and villain, classic of its time... just wanted bit more
I've seen sh*tter movies, but not too many. Hauer got nice hair.
Gritty action film that's a slow build up but well worth the wait for the action a proper 80's film. Gene simmons is definantly one of the best movie villains of the 80's!
Hauer plays a super-cool bounty hunter taking on an international terrorist (played by real life jerk Gene Simmons) in the exact same way he'd play a super cool dentist, or a super cool zookeeper, in that he doesn't even need to try. The plot echoes the absurd Arnie movie "Collateral damage", only here it works a little better, although between the action this is a little too flat and could have done with a ten minute trim here and there. It's worthy of a watch for 80's action fans, but it's pretty clear why this has somewhat fallen between the cracks and is now largely forgotten about.
Caught this on netflix recently, absolutely hilarious with Rutger in full on 80's glory complete with mullett. Whats not to love... As expected this is totally clumsy stuff, but its still entertaining fluff...

(1986) Wanted Dead And Alive
"Stupidity" is how this defines this film which the only person to root for is the central character Nick (Rutger Haur), which he plays a bounty hunter paid to go after dangerous terrorist Malak Al Rahim played by Gene Simmons of KISS fame. Of course, everything is working against the main star since the police are absolutely useless using him as bait resulting in having his best friend and girlfriend killed for getting involved, and it also doesn't help when their is a mole working within the station conspiring with the terrorists.
1/2 out of 4

Classic old school film from the late 80,s
