Some films should not be made and some actors should read the script before signing on and other actors should just stop acting.
Not sure why this movie would get lower than 2 Stars. Ithought it was pretty freekin funny. No, itï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s not the greatest movie Iï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)ve ever seen, but it succeeded in making me laugh.
Jean Claude Van Damme was hilarious as the overly eager survival instructor.
Adam Brody was perfect as the ordinary guy who stays levelheaded in the face of adversity. He was funny in an understated way, reminding me of Ron Livingstonï¿ 1/2(TM)s character, Peter in the movie Office Space.
Rob Huebel was great as Phil, the stereotypical office credit grabbing suckup. His true personality comes out after they become stranded and he elevates himself to a power craven demigod amongst his hallucinogen addled followers.
The rest of the cast was good in support roles.
The language was gratuitously crude, but hardly shocking in todayï¿ 1/2(TM)s society.
All in all it was more entertaining than a lot of movies that get higher ratings by socalled ï¿ 1/2professionalï¿ 1/2? critics.
Van Damme Comedy, entertaining for what it is.
A comedic version of Lord of the Flies. It was stupid with some inappropriate humor, but it was watchable. (First and only viewing - 7/15/2018)
Patética, este film no logra hacer nada por su historia ni sus personajes ,tristemente Jean claude Van damme toca fondo realizando un personaje sin ningún criterio actor al.
Well...It could be much worse.
I laughed a couple times thanks to Van Damme, but this is largely a painfully unfunny exercise in idiocy.
Meh comedy about a company team building retreat on a desert island led by macho survivalist Jean-Claude Van Damme. Van Damme is quickly killed by a tiger and the group then has to fend for themselves, which the group forming two camps, ALA a comic "Lord of the Flies." Besides JCVD film features some familiar comic actors including Adam Brody, Rob Huebel, Kristen Schaal, and also Dennis Haysbert in a small part .However, the film really isn't all that funny or rise above standard office comedy humor.
This was pretty funny. Jean Claude was awesome! This is about an under appreciated salesmen stepping up and saving the lives of his coworkers in the most ridiculous way possible.
Better than Ghostbusters 2016!
