Cash grab without a real script.
Zapping your gonads with a taser would be far more enjoyable than this!
strange and sick ,but.. pretty good !
Lance Henriksen is the only saving grace in this awfully acted, overly predictable film. Skip it unless you're a glutton for punishment!
A reminder as to why I hated most direct to video fare from the 90s. Daddy Craven gives his son a job as writer and producer of this by the numbers take on the old secret experiment goes awry plot. Lance Henriksen is solid as always but everything and everyone else is just the pits.
ummm.. superhuman man eats brains to stay alive... wes what were u thinking ?!? bad acting... really low budget... * boring... *
Ok horror from Wes Craven. Attempts to make the perfect human go all fucked up when he goes mental and starts killing everyone. Has its moments and Lance Henriksen is dependable as you'd expect but overall, nothing special.
Wes Craven's The Outpost is a movie about man who is injected with a virus that regenerates cells. Unfortunately, he needs sterol or to the layman cholesterol to live. How does he get his fix by suck your brains out. +'s: Well the acting was good. It actually has a young Giovanni Ribisi acting alongside Lance Henriksen. The directing was good, and the story leaves you guessing as to who will live. -'s: It's poorly lit, if this was meant to make it scarier it did not. There were some plot holes, nothing to big it just leaves you wondering why. And lastly some of the character's are stereotypical. The rebellious teen, the horny boyfriend, and the doe eyed damsel. But other than that it's not bad, I'd say it's a rental. But if you want to buy it go for it. It's a good watch.
First review! Huzzah! Alternatively called The Hills Have Eyes Part III, Mind Ripper has absolutely nothing to do with the previous few titles. I think by now you understand the quality of the film.
