GI S @RT65664524 02/06/2025 Starring: Mickey, Minnie, Kat Nipp, the parrot and about 50 random mice Recap: Tom Cat (played by Kat) leaves a note on the door to his house that he's out for the day, he then drinks an entire bottle of booze and prances off the horizon with a shotgun (perhaps never to be seen again, who is this cat? he's cool). Mickey, Minnie and a gang of mice then break into Tom's house and run amok playing all of the instruments and non-instruments in the house making various songs. That's it, they don't even eat any food or anything. Tropes: Animals playing and being made into musical instruments. Yet another crank, this time it's Mickey's tail winding himself up to spin a record. Mickey's extendable tail is used a few times including as a record player needle. Minnie's underwear is patched like it was in Plane Crazy, which I hope just means that she's poor and can't afford a new pair. Fave gag: It's impressive that the notes played by Mickey and Minnie resemble the music being played, but the highlight of this short is Mickey using the holes from Swiss cheese to play an automatic piano.
