Movie Info

The adventures of a baby elephant who is, by misfortune, separated from his mother. He searches desperately for her but instead, finds the sassy and fiercely independent Groove, an outcast from her own herd and the last elephant in the world to ever be a substitute mom. Unfortunately for Groove, Whispers takes hold of her tail and refuses to let go and the two join to make an unlikely family. Through their bickering, singing, laughing and crying they brave the hidden dangers of the dark forest and make their way toward the Great River, a rumored paradise for elephants.

A disaster that is hardly suitable for anybody. It's too scary for children and too juvenile for adults. I wish they hadn't used voices for the animals in this movie as they were very annoying. Some of the nature footage was nice, but the story didn't go well with it. You might as well put it on mute and watch it that way. (First and only viewing - In my mid-twenties)

I'm not crazy about the live-action animal movies. But this one was really bad, I have to say. I couldn't pay attention at all, so I highly doubt that a small child would. I felt that it was incredibley boring and kind of wierd. It didn't entertain me or inspire me in the least. Don't waste your time on this movie.

As far as kids movies based on live action animals go, this one is better than most. Still, some pretty chilling scenes that children should not see, and I'm assuming that's their targeted audience,
