This documentary chronicles the strange life of UFO researcher and con artist Gray Barker. Barker grew up in West Virginia with an interest in sci-fi and made a profit out of scamming others into believing in his hoaxes. Made after Barker's death in 1984, the film assembles a hilarious cast of oddballs, including Barker's crackpot followers, his lover and the friend who helped him fake footage of flying saucers -- courtesy of a modeling kit and a fishing pole.
