Jeff M @jeffmarshallmovieblogger 01/21/2024 Yep, it's as bad as the title would suggest. I freely admit that I turned this on hoping it would be as horrible as it turned out to be. You don't watch something like this hoping for good cinema - you watch for bad acting and some unintentional laughs. And we naturally get both. If you're after some true suspense, pick out a couple episodes of MURDER, SHE WROTE. The acting by the teenagers here is particularly dreadful. Their lives are in danger here, girl, and it feels like The Bloodhound Gang looking for a stolen library book. The screenplay is full of subtleties - like one of the potential suspects having an old yearbook with pages featuring the cheerleaders crossed out and filled with expletives. Expletives that could very well make the average Lifetime viewer blush. I could go on, but it's not worth it. If you need to kill off a few brain cells, this will do quite nicely.
