Audience Reviews for The Battle of China

Like "Divide and Conquer", this is a less interesting entry in Frank Capra's World War II propaganda series of films, "Why We Fight". This focuses more on Japan's attempts to invade and take over China, as their first step toward world domination, and shows how when the tide turned against Japan in this effort, they decided to shift gears and attack America earlier than initially planned, and ends with Pearl Harbor.

Frank Capra's expert direction lifts this World War II documentary well above average. It's a fascinating historical film. Excellent and always interesting.
