"Winterbeast" is charmingly rough around the edges, especially when it focuses on just being a creature feature, getting away from a barely realized story and loose characterization. Go to Full Review

xpig332 B Oct 16 Far too boring to be “so bad it’s good!” See more BigD J @Jerminator 02/19/2024 If you're expecting academy award winning performances, you're an idiot haha. This film is glorious and riddled with over the top hilarity. I can't believe some of these reviews actually thought this film was supposed to be serious. It's so blatantly obvious it's a comedy and magnificently done! I wish modern day films would go out on a limb and be this wild and off the wall! See more Chris M 10/04/2022 First dumb question, was this park just opened? Because they never said, but implied it wasn't new. So what caused the curse to start? Most parks were opened over 70 years ago with FDR, so what happened? Why now? But early pioneers of the "Rubber" school of no reason film making. I can see why this film stopped filming a few days after it started in 1986. Not restarting for 3 years and sat on a shelf for 3 more years until 1992. Wish that shelf was in a furnace. There is no story, no characters, no acting and the lazy plot line of Native American curse, because the 19th century Natives were Christian, ergo EEEEEEEVVVVVVIIIL! I'm getting sick of the easy Native American as antagonist for the crime of being here first. Plus there's like at least 3 different shitty monsters, shouldn't it be Winterbeasts? A movie that never should have seen the light of day. And I hope to forget soon. See more 11/12/2018 When I was a kid, my brother farted. This was no ordinary fart. We were forced to leave the room, closing the door behind us. It was so bad, he couldn't sleep in his bedroom that night. When we opened the door the next morning, the smell was still there. It wasn't as intense, but it had survived through the night. We still talk about that fart. It was so bad, it was legendary. I'm sure when we tell the story about it, people think we're full of shit and exaggerating about the intensity of the fart. It was something you had to experience to believe. This movie is like that fart. It's bad enough to clear a room, but it's also so bad it's legendary. You have to see it to believe it. See more 06/12/2017 According to imdb, filming for Winterbeast started in 1986 & then it was forgotten about.Only 2 scenes are from 1986 & the rest is from 1989 (Interesting) Winterbeast isn't a movie that's so BAD it's good, it's a movie that's so BAD it's HILARIOUS.Totem poles are coming to life & killing people!!! There are times where you'll laugh, There are times where you'll cringe, There are times where you'll go WTF?! You'll either be entertained or BORED out of your mind.I don't know if there will be times where you'll get pains in your head watching it like I did but I hope not.The claymation in this movie reminded me of The Gumby Show, only demented. After the 1st claymation monster scene with the lady who puts forth no effort in her screaming (Which was hilarious) after seeing the monster, You know it's going to be bad.Winterbeast is a movie for all those bad movie lovers out there. If you're not a bad movie lover then I can't imagine you'll sit through the whole thing.I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE bad movies but out of all the tons of them that I've seen, I've NEVER ever seen 1 like Winterbeast. The DVD cover even says *It Must Be Seen To Be Believed* & that's the truth!!! See more 04/25/2017 One of the most extreme bad movies ever made. See more Read all reviews
