A nice western touch to the duo's usual style. Hilarious in the fact that Costello is always on par with the title character since he accidentally murders the woman's husband and now has to take care of her and her large family and at the same time trying to resist her advances.

Bud and Lou are traveling salesmen who venture into a rough frontierstown in Montana. Soon after entering town, Lou is accused of killing a man, and by law he must provide for the widow and children. The woman is rude and crude, so he feels trapped. Soon he figures the benefit of the scenario because no one will kill him for fear of having to care for her. A funny premise, and it was interesting to see them cast in a Western setting.

Finally an original idea for Abbott and Costello to lend their talents to. Marjorie Main is a great shot in the arm to add some additional humor.

Easily Bud & Lou's greatest western. It has a few classic routines and banter but the best part is Costello as the town sheriff. Even after all these years those scenes are an endless string of laughs. Made my stomach hurt. Majorie Main is perfect as the widow and it's a shame she didn't appear with the boys more.

One of the better Abbott and Costello. Ma Kettle is pretty great.

Good Abbott and Costello movie, boosted by a good supporting cast - particularly Marjorie Main. The western theme is a plus and a pleasant change for the comic duo.
