Audience Reviews for Witchery

½

Really slow plot, notable cast members don't do anything outstanding, and the scares are rather meager. There is some nice gore and special effects, and it can get grotesque at times. It also gets confusing, plus a rather dumb ending.

A house-hunting family and a couple of photographers get stranded in a derelict hotel on a small island with a history of witchcraft. Mostly bad but it has its points of interest including: Linda Blair getting possessed again, an appearance by David Hassellhoff and some bloody occurences with the highlight being a woman who gets her lips sewn shut and then gets slowly roasted to death. If you enjoy cheesy Italian productions then you may find this of interest.

This horror movie is okay, but it's confusing up until the end, and then the ending is one of those stock horror movie ends that isn't very shocking anyway.
