Campy, colorful rip-off of "the Time Machine."

Good stuff. They men are all metro sexual and the girls are all slutty. Ah those 50's movies.

Fun bit of sci-fi about astronauts returning form Mars, only to find out they have traveled through time into the distant future, only to find the world of primitive neanderthal-like creatures roaming the surface and the civilized humans living below ground. It's pretty much a rip-off of HG Welles' "The Time Machine" except it put the Morlocks on the surface instead of underground. You've even got Rod Taylor as one of the time travelers! Still, it's pretty entertaining in a pulpy sort of way.

This sci fi film is very clever. For the time the special effects were great and the film was full of twists and turns. The only sci-fi film from the 50s that is better is Forbidden Planet.

World Without End in my opinion was a mixture of Queen Of Outer Space (1958) and also The Time Machine (1960), even though both films came out a few years after this one.

Could you imagine living in a world where you were afraid to come out to the surface and spent your life beneath the surface? That's what happens to a group of people in the future on planet Earth.

I thought this was a good film.

This movie is loaded with corny science babble, male chauvinism & killing inferior humanoid races. Sweet! These dudes come across as friendly but really are arrogant assholes. Tell me otherwise.

A corny, campy sci-fi tale with faints echoes of Logan's Run and Planet of the Apes. Both those films are far more interesting, entertaining and stylish however. Not a bad deal with the Warner/TCM four movie DVD set though.
