04/04/2013 Extremely fascinating documentary on the craziest prom on earth... in the humble town of Racine, Wisconsin. See more 01/23/2013 Since 1953 the city of Racine, Wisconsin has held a massive combined prom for every high in the city. The city of 85,000 treats it as the big event of the year, as though the Oscars have come to town, red carpet & all. The documentary itself is OK. The subject is interesting but is greatly made up of home video footage spliced in with interviews to begin with. It gets better as it progresses but feels like an episode of an MTV show on big proms. See more 07/17/2011 Fascinating subject (a small city with a huge and longstanding prom tradition), but pretty amateurish in terms of the actual storytelling and filming. See more 06/11/2011 Ok I'm going to use the word "cute!" Nice with a MidWest town as the back drop. The prom night spans over 50 years and includes the entire community. A rare look at America. Its worth checking See more 06/07/2009 The kids and their enthusiasm for this unconventional prom are cute, but there's no compelling story here. The kids simply prep for and attend prom.
