If you liked Ravenous or Death Hunt, you will appreciate this. The pacing, moody cinematography, and committed performances are excellent, creating a strong piece of art. However, as much as I enjoyed it, to elevate the dynamic further, the director could have utilized a long-distance shot of wild dogs running through pasture and fog (reminiscent of I Am Legend), indistinct figures shifting in shadows, or jarring close-ups of animal limbs darting by. This imagery would enhance the bleak atmosphere of a world ten years after the collapse and the dogs haunting it. A touch of The Hound of the Baskervilles or Brotherhood of the Wolf might be nice but could risk placing it into a separate dimension. Ultimately, the storytelling ties together beautifully. The survival elements and tense, near-silent execution keep it deeply captivating and engaging. See more Ian R @RT23899272 Jul 18 A terrible film. Do not watch it. Nothing happens at all. It just shows you what can be achieved through sheer creativity, brilliant directing and great acting without dialog. None of those fancy AI and CGI effects needed and no Hollywood overtones. I like the fact that while Cannibalism was part of the story with the wild dog attacks. As with other lazy film makers these days, who are so easily tempted to show extreme gore. I thought the balance was just right. Allot of film makers don’t have the confidence to allow the audience to use their imagination. Top marks from me, Ben! You are a credit to your industry.
