There are some unforgettable images in the film, even though the story doesn't go much of anywhere.
The openness of Minujín's understated, expressive portrayal lies at the core of an equally impressive film -- beautifully but unpretentiously shot and scored with spot-on supporting performances.
Distaff helmer Anahi Berneri alternates between long lenses and jarring, fragmentary close-up shots, creating an assured and forceful visual cocktail that serves grim quest well.
