The third Guinea Pig movie is a treat. It throws out the getting-old theme of the first two where there isn't much plot, and it's one person torturing another. Instead it embraces the idea of one person torturing himself, while throwing in tons of visual and conceptual humor. The tone-shift is somewhat disarming at first, but it's a highly engaging way of showcasing gore. Even though the actual gore and violence level in this third movie is fairly tame compared to the second (or even the first) Guinea Pig volumes, watching a dude dig into his wrist with a utility knife is rather disturbing. There is a depth of character here that neither of the first two movies even touch on. Of course, the very fact that there is a character here makes it more character-driven than either Guinea Pig 1 or 2. So far, while the tamest of the movies, it's also the most interesting and engaging, coming off more like a hyper-gored Twilight Zone episode or a segment of the V/H/S/ anthology.

A clever premise that never reaches it's full potential. The gag is stretched too much, and is never as funny as it could be.

A plot? Really? What the cock is this shit? This is the third entry, the first with plot, and is by far the funniest one yet. Yes, the funniest. This is downright comedy, folks! A depressed man decides to slit his wrists only to find out that, yep.. he's immortal! There can be only TWO!! Anyway, he then figures.. ah what the hell, and begins to gut himself.
