Mahesh Bhatt at his best- telling a story from his own life- Ajay Devgn, Kunal Khemu, Pooja Bhatt- their best performances till date. MM Kreem's soundtrack is a delight. MUST WATCH.

Some wounds can never be healed. And even if they do, they leave back scars. Zakhm is one such tale of love in midst of cold heartless hatered.

Power of body language and facial expressions displayed by Ajay Devgun. This is why he is considered one of most natural actors in India.

Mahesh Bhatt bows down gracefully as a director with this film. It is easily amongst his best works. The story of a dysfunctional family being further torn apart by communal riots is extremely well told. The performances are par excellence. Ajay Devgan gave one of his best performances. Ashutosh Rana is as menacing as ever. But the real revelations of the movie are the performances of Pooja Bhatt and Kunal Khemu. Both are given challenging and meaty roles and do complete justice to them. Their characters are well sketched and have a depth rarely seen in cinema these days. The bond between the mother-son and the father-son is very well developed. The movie is a highly personal film and leaves an indellible mark on the viewer.

One of the best movies I have watched till date. Ajay Devgun plays a role of his life, better than Company. The storyline is perfectly balanced, and has more punch than the regular communal stuff. Complete movie!

Best part, the songs are not discouraging, but attract!
