Allan C @RT15713161 1d A team of Vietnam vets decides to take on the mafia. SPOILER ALERT! Their plan involves the white veterans disguising themselves as black men! BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! When disguised as black men, completely different black actors play the Vietnam vets! The funky 70s score makes the film feel like a blaxploitation film, but does it count as a blaxploitation film when the black characters are really white? Other bizarre choices in the film include the team being led by a grotesquely burned vet who uses one of those vibrating electro-larynx to speak, making the film seem even stranger. I was impressed by some of the action and stunt work, especially one stuntman who is thrown out of a third-story hotel window into a pool, all done in one shot. Overall, ZEBRA FORCE is not a three-star quality of film, but I absolutely got three stars' worth of entertainment from this ridiculous low-budget action flick. See more 02/07/2018 A group of Vietnam vets take on the Mafia and do it in a way that frames someone else. So ... the leader of the vets is disfigured by his war wounds, and that make up is pretty great. That means something about this movie isn't terrible. If only any of the acting was even close to as good as the make up on this one guy. This is almost a total waste of time. See more Read all reviews
