A pedal-to-the-metal Bollywood crimer.

Zinda (Alive) isn't quite as gripping or as flamboyant as it should be.

If you've seen the original, don't watch this. If you haven't seen either, watch Oldboy - this is strictly for Bolly aficionados.

Audience Reviews for Zinda

Indian adaptation of "OLDBOY". Unlike most of the people, I liked it more than OLDBOY, not because it's more positive and softer than OLDBOY but because it's more logical than OLDBOY. Not that it's flawless, but the plot construction (or say, modification) made me let go the flaws. Fantastica!!!

The Bollywood version of Oldboy - obviously not as good - but the male leads are as good as they get!! Violent, heart wrenching and very graphic, this is a breakthrough movie for Bollywood as it really doesnt hold anythign back. Where some might disagree on its popularity, when viewing it and comparing to Bollywood films overall, it is very different and breaks new ground in the Indian film industry, by going in a new direction.
