Movie Info

Lucha libre fans of the world rejoice! Of course you'll always have the mighty Santo to body slam evil wherever it may rise, but now Mexican wrestling devotees have a new hero thanks to Director Stacey Case. When a series of zombie-related murders plague a local forest, masked-avengers Ulysses (Jules Delorme), Mr. X (Sean K. Robb), The Blue Saint (Raymond Carle), and his sister, Mercedes (Angela Clarke), set out to solve the mystery and put an end to the killing spree. Though suspicions quickly lead the crime-fighting quartet to a wrestler named Tiki (Rob Etcheverria), Tiki claims that his horde of zombie wrestlers are tame and that they are in no way responsible for the killings. When it's revealed that the dreaded zombie king (Nick Cyjetkovich) and his henchmen have been attempting to breed a race of powerful zombie-human hybrids, Tiki must join forces with Ulysses and company if there is any hope of thwarting the zombie king's diabolical scheme. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Jim Neidhart + Zombies + Lucha Libre = Lots of fun. Oh, add.. Gore + Many many titties and this makes me a happy, happy person. Getting into the plot is really a lost cause in this one. A bunch of Mexican wrestlers, or luche libre, try to find who's responsible for a series of deaths in a nearby forest.. and it's a Zombie movie, duh. See this for the reasons I mentioned in the beginning of this review. 'tis a recipe for fun, a good time and, for some strange reason, brownies.

Why do I do this to myself. I find films like this one and say "Zombies and Luchiadore's (sp?), sounds interesting". I know in my heart it's gonna be a bad movie. I know it. So why do I do it? Cause I'm looking to those ones that are actually really amazing, such as "Murder Party" or "Delivered", B-Horror-Comedies that are actually intellegent. This isn't one. But it starts out really awesome and some of the ideas are great. But allas 76mins is long enough for the premis to be played out far before the end.
