Movie Info

In this graphically violent exploitation film, an insane colonel tests out his newly invented virus, HV8-B, designed to significantly alter the behavior of convicts serving life sentences. As soon as they are injected, the unwilling subjects become mad-killers. Later they become slimy walking corpses in various states of decay, constantly oozing highly contagious bodily fluids that infect the whole cellblock. Soon the uninfected inmates begin to riot. Now only wrongly-imprisoned Vietnam-vet Dennis Cole can stop the crazed colonel from turning them into killer zombies. Meanwhile, blonde biochemist Tanya works to find a vaccine to stop the terrifying erosion of humanity.

Audience Reviews for Death House

Directed by and starring John (Enter the Dragon, Tenebre, A Nightmare on Elm Street), Saxon, Zombie Death House is a confused and bizarre film that wants to partly be a prison break/gang flim and partly a horror/zombie film. Overall, it just simply doesn't work. Funny, perhaps...little more can be said about Zombie Death House other than it is a cheesy, late 80s hybrid of horror and action cinema.

What can I say about this movie other than it was pretty bad. First off, if you put zombies in a movie for ten minutes, you should have no right to call the film a horror or a zombie flick. They call the film Zombie Death House. It should of been called, Crazy Gay People Prison. No I am not making fun of gay people, the movie is. All the people in the prison seem to be gay. Talk about stereotyping. For the most part, a lot of the acting was no half bad. That really surprised me since the the story was pretty horrific. Lets get back to stereotyping. Every character was very predictable. The main guy was a ladies man muscle tool who use to be in the war and has flashbacks. The girl in the film is a doctor but for some reason has the body of a playboy model. One bad guy has an italian accent and the other is an ex general who wants to test a new drug that happens to turn people into zombies; which again makes up ten minutes of the film. Nothing is scary about this movie and all it relies on is a couple nude scenes and a lot of bad plot.
