Movie Info

A revolutionary low-carb diet turns fat-busters into flesh-eaters, in this gut-munching, direct-to-video zombie effort from low-budget filmmaker George Bonilla. A new diet fad promises to revolutionize the weight-loss process, but when the experimental diet enzyme has the unfortunate side effect of making the test subjects crave human flesh, it doesn't take long for the disease to overwhelm the general population. As the number of flesh-eaters quickly multiplies, the government and the wealthy withdraw into massive walled-off cities deemed "safe zones." In the outside world, the less-fortunate Dregs must fend off not only an ever-growing army of the undead, but a psychotic band of mercenaries called the "Upper Class" as well. Though the sudden appearance of a zombie super-killer known only as Kane offers a glimmer of hope to the downtrodden Dregs, Adam, the merciless leader of the Upper Class, has more sinister plans in store for the mysterious loner.
