Jul 30, 2020Zombieland: Double Tap doesn't quite live up to the original, but it's entertaining and fun nonetheless. After being teamed up with Tallahassee and Columbus for several years Wichita and Little Rock strike out and their own again, but Wichita returns for their help when Little Rock takes off with a young man to go to a hippie commune. The original cast returns and are joined by Rosario Dawson, Luke Wilson, and Zoey Deutch. Unfortunately though, the plot is pretty rote and the comedy is a little lazy. Still, Zombieland: Double Tap is a fairly solid sequel that has its moments and delivers some good laughs (enough if the satire isn't as sharp).Dann M Super Reviewer

Mar 26, 2020Zombieland: Double Tap may be too playful for its own good at times, but it still slays with its bloody-good zombie sequences and some nice (yet outdated, also) banter between its cast. This long-awaited sequel to its 2009 original may make you wonder why you waited this long but by the end will make the efforts worth the decade-long wait. 3.6/5

Jan 20, 2020Sequels are a dime a dozen in this modern age of big budget Hollywood. Was Zombieland crying out for a sequel? No. Fans have been begging for a sequel for years, and in my experience with sequels, long overdue sequels hardly deliver. The films characters are still great and the ballooning support cast was quite small overall, and allowed the central cast to maintain all the focus. I had expected something more self aware, much like the previous film, but the film felt safe with replicating some of the jokes. Double Tap falls into all the common sequel pitfalls and I couldn't believe this was the film they delivered after an extended delay. It's a good film, not a great film. If a third film is made, I only hope they drift away from the safe storytelling model. 19/01/2020Brendan N Super Reviewer

Dec 10, 2019It's good to see everyone back after 10 years. There's nothing groundbreaking about this film, unlike the first one, but if you enjoyed Zombieland 1 then there is no reason the sequel would upset you. It's a fun ride that you probably won't remember soon after it ends.Sanjay R Super Reviewer
