Well meaning drama but oversimplifies a lot and plays the death card too easily.

Manhunter (1986)
One of the worst movies ever made. How do people think this is effective? It's so schmaltzy and sloppy and careless. No tension, no terror, and Hannibal does not put his feet up!

Excellent drama about what tough schools are really like. Doesn't glamorize students or teachers. Powerful.

Outstanding drama. Actually makes a case for adultery. You really feel for them and get sucked into this quiet world.

Get Shorty (1995)
I really never got into this. It's slow, some industry jokes are funny, but mostly really slow. Rene Russo looks great thoughh.

Seabiscuit (2003)
Seabiscuit tells the true story of the horse that ended the great depression, cured blindness and revived a man's dead son. Or, at least that's the metaphor the film hopes to portray.

Daryl Sabara is the new action hero. He's tougher than Vin Diesel, smoother than The Rock and cooler than Keanu. At least Robert Rodriguez makes you think so.

Terrible Gen-X romantic comedy. Glorifies the loser at the expence of the successful guy. There's no basis for love, and the silly dance scene and "reality show" are just lame.

Bad Boys II (2003)
It would just be way too easy to hate Bad Boys 2. It would be too easy to say the excessive humor involving human cadavers is nauseating. It would be too easy to say that jokes at the expense of dead women are offensive.
