4.5/5 Stitchers: Season 3 (TV, 2017) Mandy Treccia Snappy dialogue and the team's genuine chemistry with one another hold[s] the show together. EDIT

Saving Hope: Season 1 (TV, 2012) Mandy Treccia It's fast-paced, the medical cases are interesting, the character dynamics are intriguing and all of the actors brought their A-game. EDIT

White Collar: Season 4 (TV, 2012-2013) Mandy Treccia The cast, the writing, the plot; everything about this episode was epitome of what makes the show so much fun to watch. EDIT

Castle: Season 5 (TV, 2012-2013) Mandy Treccia "Castle" is back and already leaps and bounds better than last season. EDIT

Hart of Dixie: Season 2 (TV, 2012-2013) Mandy Treccia I loved the premiere, even if I would have rather seen more of Annabeth and less of Ruby, but other than that, it was solid. EDIT

Arrow: Season 1 (TV, 2012-2013) Mandy Treccia I have nothing but good things to say about the cast, the writing, the premise, you name it, I loved it. EDIT

Emily Owens, M.D.: Season 1 (TV, 2012-2013) Mandy Treccia This isn't "Grey's Anatomy" and it's not "Scrubs" either. It's a really well-written and well-acted show about people who are just trying to figure out life while they do their jobs. EDIT

Necessary Roughness: Season 3 (TV, 2013) Mandy Treccia As the episode title, "Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes", suggests, there have been some big changes to the series. While it's still too early to judge whether all of these changes are for the better, the show delivered a solid premiere episode EDIT

Suits: Season 3 (TV, 2013-2014) Mandy Treccia Now that is good TV. EDIT
Posted Jan 22, 2019
Castle: Season 6 (TV, 2013-2014) Mandy Treccia This was a solid episode, but it makes me a little wary that they went for something so heavy right out of the gate. I've always said that I enjoy Castle when it doesn't take itself too seriously and there is a lot of humor injected into the episodes. EDIT

The Originals: Season 1 (TV, 2013-2014) Mandy Treccia Despite our love for the show and the characters, we can admit that the premiere had a few 'misses' as well. EDIT

Hart of Dixie: Season 3 (TV, 2013-2014) Mandy Treccia All in all, this was a great episode and I am so happy to be back in Bluebell with all of these kooky characters. I'm not feeling the new characters, but hopefully that will change or maybe they won't stick around too long. EDIT

Arrow: Season 2 (TV, 2013-2014) Mandy Treccia While it's always going to be Oliver's story, it's nice to see the other players having their own lives, even if they do ultimately tie in to what's going on with Oliver and his journey from vigilante to hero. EDIT

White Collar: Season 5 (TV, 2013-2014) Mandy Treccia The episode completely and totally lost us at this point. We don't understand why the writers insist on forcing Neal and Peter's relationship back ten steps EVERY SINGLE SEASON. EDIT

Reign: Season 1 (TV, 2013-2014) Mandy Treccia While the show has made it clear that some liberties will be taken with historical accuracy, we don't mind at all because we're already completely obsessed. EDIT

Suits: Season 4 (TV, 2014-2015) Mandy Treccia Overall, this was a solid episode and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I like how many story possibilities are floating around and I'm looking forward to seeing where the writers go next. EDIT

Once Upon a Time: Season 4 (TV, 2014-2015) Mandy Treccia Overall, this episode was enjoyable, but it felt disjointed. EDIT

The Originals: Season 2 (TV, 2014-2015) Mandy Treccia All in all, this was a great season premiere and well worth the long hiatus. It tidied up the last big threat from season one and stressed the importance of family and blood and fighting for what matters most. EDIT

Arrow: Season 3 (TV, 2014-2015) Mandy Treccia "The Calm" introduced us to someone we barely recognized - Oliver with a positive outlook on life. EDIT
Posted Jan 18, 2019
Hart of Dixie: Season 4 (TV, 2014-2015) Mandy Treccia I don't know about anyone else, but I spent the first 20 minutes of "Kablang" grinning until my cheeks hurt because it was so fun to be reunited with these quirky characters and their outrageous small town antics. EDIT

Once Upon a Time: Season 5 (TV, 2015-2016) Mandy Treccia Once Upon A Time returned for its fifth season with a fantastic episode centered on Emma's journey to becoming the new Dark One better known as "The Dark Swan." EDIT

Arrow: Season 4 (TV, 2015-2016) Mandy Treccia All in all, a solid episode that did a nice job of making sure all of the cast members had something to do other than stand in the background. EDIT

The Vampire Diaries: Season 7 (TV, 2015-2016) Mandy Treccia The Vampire Diaries kicked off its seventh season with one of their best season premieres ever. EDIT

The Originals: Season 3 (TV, 2015-2016) Mandy Treccia I LOVED seeing all the Original siblings in their original bodies right after they became vampires so please give us more of these scenes. EDIT

Once Upon a Time: Season 6 (TV, 2016-2017) Mandy Treccia While the episode did tread its share of familiar, somewhat tired ground, the heroes managed to capture Mr. Hyde fairly early in the hour. EDIT

The Vampire Diaries: Season 8 (TV, 2016-2017) Mandy Treccia The Vampire Diaries premiered for the eighth and final time. Written by the show's creators, Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson, the episode delivered nostalgia, horror, romance, friendship, brotherly love, and new mysteries. EDIT

Shadowhunters: Season 2 (TV, 2017) Mandy Treccia How much does it suck that Jace Wayland was better off when he thought he was an orphan? Jace's familial struggles and the mission to find him-dead or alive-dominated the season two premiere of Shadowhunters. EDIT
Posted Jan 17, 2019
The Originals: Season 4 (TV, 2017) Mandy Treccia "Gather Up the Killers" started out slow. Not because of the exposition, but due to the lack of Original family members. EDIT
Posted Jan 17, 2019
Famous in Love: Season 1 (TV, 2017) Mandy Treccia While Famous in Love suffered the standard pilot kinks (awkward chemistry, overzealous line delivery, and too much telling rather than showing), the series delivered on its potential for addictive, soapy drama. EDIT
Posted Jan 17, 2019
Timeless: Season 2 (TV, 2018) Mandy Treccia Like any good story reveling in its rise from the ashes moment, the episode picked up right where we left off last year only to blow up the entire premise of series with one well-placed bomb. EDIT
Posted Jan 17, 2019
Shadowhunters: Season 3 (TV, 2018) Mandy Treccia All in all, not the most exciting season premiere in the history of television. But that's okay because there's plenty of material to work with and room for the stories to grow. EDIT

Famous in Love: Season 2 (TV, 2018) Mandy Treccia Sadly, Famous in Love started its sophomore run with "The Players," a filler episode about as exciting as watching paint dry. EDIT

The Originals: Season 5 (TV, 2018) Mandy Treccia If all the episodes are as good as this one, I'm not going to be ready to say goodbye. EDIT

The Originals: Season 5 - When the Saints Go Marching In (TV Episode) Mandy Treccia "When the Saints Go Marching In" served as a pre-death funeral for Klaus Mikaelson; a chance for his siblings, as well as the audience, to share a final goodbye. EDIT

Legacies: Season 1 - This is the Part Where You Run (TV Episode) Mandy Treccia While "This is the Part Where You Run" carried the usual clunky, expository quirks associated with pilots walking the delicate line between giving the audience valuable information and not overwhelming them to the point they change the channel. EDIT

Legacies: Season 1 - Some People Just Want to Watch the World Burn (TV Episode) Mandy Treccia "Some People Just Want to Watch the World Burn" tapped into the true magic of this universe: its ability to dig into the characters' emotional wounds and twist the knife. EDIT

Legacies: Season 1 - We're Being Punked, Pedro (TV Episode) Mandy Treccia While the first two outings of the series wobbled between character intros and mythology whispers, "We're being Punk'd, Pedro" cemented the show's worthy inclusion in this universe. EDIT

Legacies: Season 1 - Hope Is Not the Goal (TV Episode) Mandy Treccia In what's becoming a fun tradition, the villain of the hour proved rather unexpected. EDIT
