Nomadland (2020) Patricia Puentes With Nomadland, Zhao wants us to marvel at simple things, like nature. You might question your material possessions and attachment to them. And even if this year isn't possible, you're gonna feel the need to explore the planet. [Full review in Spanish] EDIT

One Night in Miami (2020) Patricia Puentes In the play, the action was set around Malcolm X's hotel room. King gets out of the limitations of those four walls and takes the action to a parking lot, a nearby store, the hotel's rooftop, matching her vision to the format. [Full review in Spanish] EDIT

The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020) Patricia Puentes My only objection is that it almost looks like men were mainly the ones fighting for civil rights in the '60s. I'm sure Sorkin could have found a good C.J. Cregg -- The West Wing's talented press secretary -- for this story. [Full Review in Spanish] EDIT

Mulan (2020) Patricia Puentes My favorite addition to the movie is the character played by Gong Li, Xianniang. Between Xianniang and Mulan there's an antagonistic relationship, but also one of quasi mentorship. They are two women in a men's world. [Full Review in Spanish] EDIT

Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020) Patricia Puentes I like that life hasn't turned Bill and Ted in two jaded men with a strong case of a middle-age crisis. They keep all of their youth's innocence and enthusiasm. [Full review in Spanish] EDIT

Project Power (2020) Patricia Puentes The movie tries to makeus think about the consequences of having superpowers. Taking a Power pill isn't free of consequences. You don't come back from a Power trip exactly as when it started.[Full review in Spanish] EDIT

An American Pickle (2020) Patricia Puentes This movie would have been better, had it stuck with the parody of modern life from the perspective of someone coming from the past. Things start to not work in An American Pickle when the movie tries to say something more. [Full review in Spanish] EDIT

The Old Guard (2020) Patricia Puentes With The Old Guard Gina Prince-Bythewood proves the need for diversity not only in front of the cameras but also behind them. In all genres. [Full Review in Spanish] EDIT

Babyteeth (2019) Patricia Puentes Don't dismiss Babyteeth just because teenage romance isn't your cup of tea. This is not a sugar-coated movie looking to make you cry. [Full Review in Spanish] EDIT

Wasp Network (2019) Patricia Puentes I think Wask Network is another example of something that would have worked much better as a miniseries. [Full Review in Spanish] EDIT
