Very good, early Woody Allen comedy. Not as good as such films as "Bananas", "Take the Money and Run" or "Sleeper", but still better than most comedies and certainly worth a viewing.

A funny movie with some decent action scenes, Stone was a big blockbuster when it came out, but hasn't aged particularly well. The chemistry between the Douglas, Turner and DeVito is still fun to watch.

Sliver (1993)
Sliver has a few mildly memorable moments, but is for the most part a waste of time. It is indicative of the poor career choices Sharon Stone made once she became a household name.

Classic Disney animation, classic story. A wonderful film for childrena and adults as well.

Barfly (1987)
A terrific little film that features the best performance Mickey Rourke has ever given. It drags you into its world and makes you care about the characters.

Fine espionage thriller that features great performances by Redford and Dunaway. It's not perfect, but it's pretty close.

Popcorn (1989)
An underrated little horror gem. If you think you've seen all the scary movies and need a fix, give this one a try.

1984 (1984)
Slow moving and hard to follow. Not nearly as good as it should have been. Just go read the book instead.

It makes you laugh, it could very well make you cry, and the animation is just magnificent. It could be the most well-rounded film that Disney has ever made.

Very funny at times, and certainly worth seeing. It's probably the best modern Christmas movie out there to rent and watch with your kids.

Thief (1981)
It's a shame Thief isn't better remembered by people. If you really enjoy films about robberies, this one is right up your alley. Caan is terrific, and Mann's budding talent is evident.

Manhattan (1979)
One of Woody's best, this is a good place to start if you're unfamiliar with his body of work. It's funny, it's dramatic, and it's certainly the best looking film he's ever made. The opening sequence is tremendous.

A hodgepodge of skits, some of which are better then others. It hasn't dated very well, but if you love the Airplane movies, this should make you laugh a bit every now and then.

Some see it as a classic, others wonder why. I fall into the latter category.

Flatliners (1990)
A horrible, dumb movie that wastes the time of the good actors involved. This should have been an early indication that Joel Schumacher needed to be stopped.

Still funny after all these years, this is the rare kind of movie that you could watch along with your kids and actually feel like you're teaching them something.

El Topo (1970)
This could quite possibly be the strangest film you'll ever watch. And I mean that in the best possible way. Track this one down.

A fine Dirty Harry film that features one of the best car chases of all time. And keep your eyes peeled for Jim Carrey's imitation of Axl Rose.

Tombstone (1993)
Most of the movie is above-average, but Val Kilmer's performance is what makes it a must-see.

Silverado (1985)
A good movie, although it's sometimes too antiseptic for what a Western should be. There's some great shoot-out scenes.
