A wild, possibly crazy new docuseries that has one major distinction - this has never been done before, and for good reason.

It is a bit gonzo and questionable, but so much more revelatory about the prison experience than anything I've ever seen.

My maternal concerns aside, the show is eye-opening.

An undeniably compelling if highly questionable concept.

60 Days In is the kind of gritty, reality-of-life, ethically challenged reality television that A&E has made its thing. It's well-produced, insofar as it's tightly edited, creating atmosphere well. But like the premise, it falls apart upon examination.

I think this shows just fake all it is is another TV show about prison. There's no way that people can get beat up while on cameraalso where's the other people that were in prison before on the other episodes they just all of a sudden got released. What a fake show I would never even attempt to tell people to watch this show because it's all fake it's just another show made up

It's a good show the only things that are annoying me. Is Robert the borderline psychopath. He's like the Joker but the difference is, he's more like a joke without a punchline. Sheriff Jamey Noel, looks like Bobby Hill from King of the Hill. There's times I'm expecting him to say something random like "I huff propane." Maryum is abit self obsessed with her self. So far of watching the show she's the only one that keeps going on about who her dad is. Like for crying out loud we get it but it doesn't make you special. Like the scene where she saw her dad on the news and she was making all then weirdo faces hoping to God they wouldn't show her face when in reality if mention Ali's daughter most people I know think of the boxer not her. Futher more I had no idea who she was ontil I started watching this program. Tami is nothing special that's probably why she hides behind a badge in real life so she can be a bully. Barbara is one these people who are oblivious in real life. If it ain't happening to them and as long as the grass is green on her side of the hill, she couldn't shit and is more then happy to be judgmental. And Zac's the man this should be his show. He's the only one that seems like he's got this in the bag, the only one who is taking it seriously. He's subtle but affective, he gives me a prison break feeling and I'm glad he got that moment with his wife.

It's a decent show I just have a real problem with Robert even one of the COs in the show said "that guys a joke " and that's funny because he is ,he's not taking the program seriously and the fact of the matter is any more time in the pod and he would've been either exposed or seriously hurt . he gets a real kick out of himself making terrible jokes and a mockery of why he is really there which is to try and better the prison not make a fool of himself like he has. Of course he's having fun in solitary confinement but what does that accomplish nothing ! It's really sad that he actually gets screen time but like I have read and some other reviews most everyone seems to feel the same way about him Robert you are an idiot Zac on the other hand is an all star he handled himself so well and I think he's really going to be able to help the sheriff make the place better. I definitely recommend watching the show. And Robert if you're reading or ever read this YOU ARE A JOKE. Truth of the matter is you couldn't handle yourself in jail so you hid in confinement and covered up your insecurities with terrible jokes. You should be ashamed of yourself

the 'contestants' think they're the messengers, but really they're the guinea pigs. intriguing look at human behaviour.

This program is definitely entertaining, informative, and worth your time. I highly recommend it. Doesn't reach 5 stars but definitely a solid 4.

I liked the first season with the exception of "Robert". I think he is an absolute liar and was so cocky that when faced with the notion of going back to general population, for covering the camera which he knew would put himself into solitary confinement, was so scared he had to fake severe pain that required "medical care". I think he went into the experiment with a major character flaw of arrogance and ignorance. By just watching his comments to fellow inmates it was obvious that he was well over his head and had to come up with something fast that would get him out of the situation of prisoner abuse. I think he is nothing but a liar and never should of ever been considered for the show. He is a disgrace to what they were trying to accomplish and provided absolutely zero in terms of intel. All in all the show is an interesting look into the lives of inmates and I believe that Zach was incredible in how he went about performing what he was sent in to do, excellent job! Hopefully season 2 will be as entertaining as the first season was.
