Audience Reviews for 9-1-1: Season 4

I jumped into Season 4, with no preamble and it holds up. I got a bit more than expected. Rather than one-off events (there are those), they have devoted some time to developing the characters well. Great casting, with actors of that calibre, there's no way you can lose. It's worth watching and they really delve into some deep issues, which was fresh and unexpected.

Premier of 911 was pure sci-fi and it looks like episode 2 is going to be more of the same. Will not be watching.

This show had me hooked after the first episode, great cast and very good writing makes every episode feel like a rollercoaster ride.

Someone kill off the Buck character; I'm tired of being abused with the torture of his narcissistic whining. This show can be a lot of fun ... every time the Buck character is not on screen.

Season 4! The city of Los Angeles and the very unlucky 118 response team keeps getting the worst accidents in this show. They've had earthquakes and tsunamis, and now it's the turn for mudslides, firefighter killers and the COVID-19 pandemic, of course. This could be the first TV show in history to tackle the current state of the world and they have done a great job giving the show a more realistic look in the midst of a pandemic. It goes deep with each main character's personal storylines and the importance of family becomes a common theme throughout the season. Also, LGBTQ+ representation is always as good as it could be.

This show continues to waste acting talent on formulaic, hackneyed material that's too often reminiscent of so very much of broadcast television. This is especially true for Peter Krause for whom this is an unworthy follow-up vehicle to Six Feet Under and Parenthood, both of which displayed how incisive he can be when presented with inventive writing.
  • Feb 18, 2021
The storyline reflecting the actual struggles the COVID-19 pandemic gave to this fourth season more depth and enriches the episodes with more contemporary and realistic layers and details. Everything is very fluid, pleasant to watch and well balanced.
  • Jan 22, 2021
Glad to see it back, but I wish they'd make up their minds on masks.
  • Jan 18, 2021
very good show well thought out
