Season two of Acapulco builds on the joyous, nostalgic ride by occasionally cornering the characters in uncomfortable situations that result in heartwarming gestures and comedic gold. Go to Full Review

Acapulco sets itself apart from even the coziest of shows by delivering compelling characters that are also consistently hilarious. Go to Full Review

As much as I enjoy the 80’s aesthetic for the half of Acapulco that follows Young Maximo, it’s the present-day narrative that is going to really carry this season for me. Go to Full Review

Qin H. @kin1127 Oct 27 It’s really a great show I literally wanna cry for many times See more Raquel E @raquelea Sep 20 The second season keeps the charm alive while diving deeper into Máximo’s personal growth and emotional struggles. It beautifully portrays how ambition can clash with values, especially when navigating privilege and class divisions. What stands out is the continued focus on intergenerational wisdom and the complexity of family expectations. While the tone remains feel-good, the series subtly critiques economic systems and the pursuit of the “American Dream” from a distinctly Latin American perspective. Still fun, still heartwarming, but now with even more substance. See more Arlen B @Arlen170 06/03/2024 The quality entertainment continues on in season 2. See more Eric N @EricNix 02/15/2024 I watched Season 1 and 2 back to back over 10 days and absolutely loved it. Season 1 is above average, but Season 2 dials everything up to near-perfection. It is so heart-warming to see all the pieces fit together, with the writing, cinematography, acting, etc. all gelling together. I love so many of the shows on Apple TV+, but I seem to have a special affinity for series set in different countries - Pachinko, Drops of God, Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, Bad Sisters, etc.. I most definitely include Acapulco in that list. Sure, it can be a bit corny sometimes, but the warmth and down-to-earth humour really shine through. The last two episodes of Season 2 are truly outstanding and I can't imagine anyone watching the Season 2 finale and not tearing up. Just so good. I am looking forward to the next season in May 2024 - and I hope this series can continue for a long, long time, because there is so much more of Maximo's story to tell. Thank you Apple TV+ for continuing to produce so many wonderful series. My subscription is worth every penny I pay for it. See more Peter K @Vacadoug 11/06/2023 Brilliant! It scores an A+ in all facets of storytelling. See more Wilson A @Wilsonangel 03/25/2023 Wow, excelente comedia de Apple TV, te saca risas, te super entretiene y nos deja quierondo ver ya la tercera temporada. See more Read all reviews
