Retsuko is a 25-year-old red panda who is growing increasingly frustrated with her job in the accounting department of a trading company in Tokyo as she enters her fifth year working at the firm. All she wants to do is get her job done and make it through the day. But her frustrations often reach a boiling point -- whether it's because of pushy superiors or annoying co-workers -- and when they do she gets her emotions out the only way she knows how -- by going to a karaoke bar and venting through death metal music.

I'd say that this season is one of the show's best so far. Go to Full Review

Aggretsuko season four is a notable addition to television shows offering dramatized insights into capitalism and how it affects the individual - an animated Squid Game, of sorts. Go to Full Review

It's become mired in a frustrating, plodding back-and-forth with a couple of its most frustrating characters that doesn't resolve at the season's climax. Still, it's mostly just as enjoyable as the first three installments. Go to Full Review

The best part of Aggretsuko is often how relatable it is, even amidst some of the more outlandish plotlines. Go to Full Review

See more Robert L @RT84951478 12/01/2023 A good program! Well conceived and written, it celebrates and pokes fun at itself at the same time. Well done. See more Johnathon W @Hoppynsc 09/04/2023 Another excellent season that sees Retsuko & Haida finally starting to pursue a relationship only for troubles at their company start to get in the way. The vocal cast remains superb while the show runners expand the universe as Haida gets an unexpected promotion from the new CEO, only for some dangerous complications to arise. While this season is a bit more dramatic, it still fun for fans, especially when Retsuko and her co-workers start working together to save the company. Plus, Tsunoda gets a chance to shine as the local relationship counselor. Still one of the best romantic comedies in anime right now. See more Sam W @RT12778871 04/12/2022 By far the worst season. To echo what other people are saying, the direction they took Haida left a lot to be desired and really didn't match a lot of people's perception of his character. All in all still enjoyable; the worst season of Aggretsuko is still more enjoyable to 99% of content out there. See more 01/20/2022 As others commented, this season is the worst of for now, rushed things, not well attached things to another, characters doing things not as before i was led to believe they would, and WHAT THE F* WAS THAT ENDING? LOL Still loved Aggretsuko, entertaining as hell, plot wise sort of fell.. See more 01/19/2022 This is one of my absolute favorite shows and while so many people didn't like season four, I loved it. I loved seeing the romance and Haida's character growth!!! I rewatched it to experience it all over again. This show truly makes me happy and I can't wait to see what they do for the next season!!!!
