Spencer James is a rising high school football player and A student at South Crenshaw High, but when coach Billy Baker recruits him to join his team in Beverly Hills, Spencer's mother, Grace, and his best friend, Coop, convince him it's an opportunity he has to seize. Forced to move in with Billy and his family to protect his transfer permit to Beverly, Billy's son Jordan, who is also the starting quarterback, is less than thrilled to be sharing his father's attention -- or the team spotlight. While Spencer struggles to find his footing, he makes an unlikely friend in Jordan's sister, who is struggling with her own demons.

Original fans or at least myself were looking forward to seeing how things played out for the ORIGINAL characters we started with. Honestly I didn't even wanna continue the season only watched as far as I did because I assumed things would resume to normal. I went and looked up would the removed characters return in season 7 and it was only as guest stars...anyway if you guys wanted a spin off you should've just created that for the fans or ppl who might've enjoyed it See more Eli J @RT04890140 May 5 Season 7 is as good as season 1 and 2. I was sceptic that the series can get better from previous seasons and season 7 delivered. The streets come back to haunt individuals and the stress get into the head of certain people. The show was becoming a teen/college show but season 7 comes with the drama from reality check from the hood. This series thrives with that kind of drama.
