Steve C @RT19610513 Jul 3 Unlike the American/Canadian version, people don't get finished off by winter. They just have to survive the health check, because they have to survive in semi swamp land. The choice of site should have been better. I don't like the unfairness of triggering combat PTSD in one of contestants, by locating him within the outskirts of traffic of a helipad. It's supposed to be survival alone in nature, not surviving alone against PTSD attacks caused by something unnatural: sound of helicopters. That guy deserves a second chance, if willing. This occurred in 2023? Somebody tapped because of COVID. F. See more Brady M @RT62194140 05/24/2025 This cast our a bunch of whiners (not winners). Where did they find these people? Within 2 days you got cast members crying for their families and bitching about all of the elements that they knew going in they would face. See more Sasha N @RT64064151 05/22/2025 OhEhmmGeeee!! Just AWFUL HORRIBLE STUPID cast. This was by far one of the worst Alone season EVER!! It was not one bit entertaining! Yeah! I’m sitting on the couch watching y’all. Yet I am flabbergasted at how ill prepared majority of the competitors were. THREE Tap outs on day TWO?!?!?! That’s got to be a record for the show. I get how tough the terrain was being dumped in Tasmania, scarcity of finding food …. I just don’t know how this cast was selected for this show. They were a total JOKE!! Do better ALONE To top that all off, I have never seen a season of Alone where there were more *BLEEPS* than a spoken word! Like seriously it was IRRA-FCN-TATTING trying to watch and listen to every other word being bleeped out!! UGH And don’t get me started on their shelters. Holy cow!! I mean what the AF!! The only person worth winning in GINA!! She is the only participant the actually deserves to win!! Hands down If I could give it ZERO stars I would See more Amos A @TakeItFromMe 05/15/2025 This has to be the lamest attempt of a survivalist show ever. My 96-year-old grandma would survive longer than these losers. Seriously, two (20%) of the contestants tapped out on day two. I can sleep longer than that. A bag of Doritos would have been better survival gear for these idiots. Another one, an expert hunter (haha), guide (chuckles), tracker (LOL), tapped out on day three. They spent all their time walking around, thinking the worst at all times, and doing nothing. And then they wasted more time narrating their boring backstories. I started fast-forwarding at the beginning of episode 2 to stop only when they weren't walking around or telling their backstories. I was at the end of the episode, and that's all it showed. Then I did the same for episode 3. Wow, one guy caught a fish. AMAZING!!! There is no way I am investing another second on this horrible series. Take my advice and don't even start. If I were ever stranded with any of these numbskulls, I would separate myself immediately to increase my likelihood of survival. See more Zach B @RT26163784 02/10/2025 The site selection seemed especially challenging for contestants. It didn't seem like there were many food sources available and there were a lot of restrictions, which made this a contest of who could stand to lose the most weight. Several of the contestants didn't seem up to the task either. Land acknowledgments and authentic First Nations lineages may make for compelling television characters, but those folks were among the first to drop after 2 days in the wild. Location, location, location. See more Read all reviews
